INTERNSHIPS

We recognize the value of internships for college students. We want to provide a valuable learning experience by offering talented students an opportunity to participate in meaningful tax and accounting projects. Our internships will allow students a chance to explore career choices, network, and apply their education in a small firm environment.

We offer internships primarily during the spring semester and sometimes during the summer.

REQUIREMENTS

We want candidates who have qualities that will contribute to career success. Internship candidates should have a proven record of academic excellence. They should possess a high degree of self-confidence, strong interpersonal skills, and be task oriented. Sound verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to work as part of a team is also necessary.

Our internship program is designed for college students who are completing their junior year or are currently enrolled in the MS Professional Accounting or Tax Program.

Once you have been selected as a candidate, you may be asked to provide the following:

• Letter of recommendation from one of your professors
• One-page summary of why you want to intern at James L. Hintzke, CPA, S.C.
